- Hi to all C=64 Cracks
-
- I have got a serious problem with my C=64 machine:
-
- If I turn on the C=64, the cassette-player hums, floppy starts and ends,
- monitor comes to life and the starting text (*** COMMODORE 64 BASIC V2
- ***...) comes up (every well educated C=64 does this ;-) ).
-
- But then the colors start to change very fast and randomly. There is no
- disc-access possible. However, the keyboard-behavior is still ok.
-
- I have changed out the color-RAM and the VIC, but the same(!) error still
- occurs. Here I must confess, that I might have killed the new color-RAM,
- while building it out or in.
-
-
- And now my question:
- Can anybody think of another source (not the VIC and color-RAM) for this
- strange behavior (please not the 6510)?
-
-
- Please email answers to sdroll@cip.mathematik.uni-wuerzburg.de or to this
- newsgroup if it may interest the others.
-
- Thank you very much
-
