  11. Hi to all C=64 Cracks

  13. I have got a serious problem with my C=64 machine:

  15. If I turn on the C=64, the cassette-player hums, floppy starts and ends, 
  16. monitor comes to life and the starting text (*** COMMODORE 64 BASIC V2 
  17. ***...) comes up (every well educated C=64 does this ;-) ).
  18.  
  19. But then the colors start to change very fast and randomly. There is no 
  20. disc-access possible. However, the keyboard-behavior is still ok.
  21.  
  22. I have changed out the color-RAM and the VIC, but the same(!) error still 
  23. occurs. Here I must confess, that I might have killed the new color-RAM,  
  24. while building it out or in.

  27. And now my question:
  28. Can anybody think of another source (not the VIC and color-RAM) for this 
  29. strange behavior (please not the 6510)?
